Subtle Cues to Movement in Still Photos–It’s a Feeling You Can See

I came across this item from Moose Peterson, one my favorite wildlife photogs, and I just had to share it. Moose talks about how capturing a shorebird at the “decisive moment” will show movement without blur, by capturing the foot of the bird as it takes a step. This will raise your viewer response exponentially–and will give you that “OH!” moment you feel in your gut that tells you it’s a great shot–and yes, Deborah, even a lucky one at that.
