My oh my, how time does fly! It’s also time for our May monthly meeting! I’m sure most of you have marked your calendars, but in case time has gotten away from you too, please consider this a friendly reminder that we will be meeting next week, on May 8th starting at 6pm.
And, in case you have forgotten, it’s now bring your own dinner/snack for socializing at 6pm, and the meeting will start at 6:30. This month, Joan Ohlson will be presenting some of her favorite images of her recent trip to India and Nepal (What’s with all this travel to the other side of the world? LOL). After seeing Joan’s lovely work from her trip to Brazil and the Antarctica cruise, I’m very much looking forward to what she has discovered with her lens this time!

The instructional part of the meeting will have us looking at Lightroom, which I consider the best platform for a true digital darkroom. (By the way–we will have a Picasa tutorial at the June meeting). Just an overview this time, but I know once you see the possibilities you will be downloading your own trial version.

Remember to upload your photos for the egg assignment if you have not already done so, and bring your suggestions on what the theme for the 2015 exhibit should be.

See you there!
