Hello Light Painters!

It’s time for a friendly reminder that our April photowalk is scheduled for Sunday, May 4th at Orient State Park, and yes the weather will be fine. At least that’s what my weather hero Bill Evans of Channel 7 is saying. Rain will be later in the day, if it comes.

This is an outdoor activity, and this time, we don’t expect to be doing very much walking. As we mentioned at the April meeting, Paula and I have devised a little exercise intended to make you  work a bit out of your comfort zone. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt–we promise!  However, to get the most out of the exercise, you should plan to bring a tripod, and if you have a wide angle lens along with a zoom or telephoto lens, you should bring both. And, you may need to kneel on the ground, so you might want to bring a blanket or a towel.

Please RSVP to let us know how many will be joining us. Remember, 9 AM sharp at Orient State Park. Sunday, May 4.
