In photography, like so many other technical pursuits, we learn about the rules as we hone our skills. But it is important to remember that the best practitioners of any profession/hobby/trade know when to break the rules to create note-worthy works. Sometimes breaking the rules just gets you into trouble, but just as often, taking the risk will make you a star. Besides, in photography, a broken rule is hardly ever riskier than a wasted frame of digital film. That’s what the delete button is for. Winking smile
